LUCKNOW: Expressing concern over dynastic rule (Vanshwad) spreading its tentacles in all political parties, senior BJP leader Kalraj Mishra suggested for finding a solution to curtail the ''unethical'' political growth.
Talking to newspersons at the party headquarters, Kalraj, however, refused to be dragged into the ongoing controversy over ticket to Premlata, daughter-in-law of party vice-president Kalyan Singh from his traditional assembly seat Atrauli.
"Vanshwad is growing naturally, spreading its tentacles in all political parties. There is a need to change such political phenomenon to curb the practice," he commented, refusing to make any comment on ticket to Kalyan''s daughter-in-law.
Taking a dig at the Mulayam government, Kalraj apprehended large-scale booth capturing again. "Rigging during the Lok Sabha polls is still fresh in the minds of the people. Serious doubts are being raised over the impartial by-polls," he alleged.
Demanding effective steps, Kalraj said that it was the duty of the Election Commission to instil confidence among electorates for using their franchise without any fear. "Until confidence of the electorates is restored, the entire exercise of holding by-polls would be meaningless," he pointed out, urging EC to ensure free and fair polls.
The senior BJP leader also took umbrage to UPA government''s move for setting up a commission for minorities. "The UPA government is pursuing separatist policies. The move to set-up commission will have dangerous repercussions. It might vitiate the communal harmony and lead to the division of the country and society," he pointed.
On Pota replacement, Kalraj said that it was mainly being done to terrorise RSS and its offshoots.
